The Golden Kettle Trail Series Nordic is held inside the Kettle Moraine State Forest, starting and finishing at the Nordic Trailhead. You may choose from a short, mid or long distance course at the race. All distances are loops and begin / end at the main trailhead where you park. Courses are well marked with colored flags and arrows in more questionable sections. This trail system is mostly made up of grass trails that are about 4 runners wide. It's known best as a wonderful cross country ski trail - expect rolling hills and beautiful scenery through the woods and the prairie section. COME join this low key, down to earth, a little dirty, a little rowdy trail running family. We're here for all of it and we've got your back. Let's do the damn thing!
