This year's theme, "Hearts in Motion: United in Every Stride," celebrates the unity we share through movement, reminding us that pride is strongest when we lift each other up. Since its inaugural race in Central Park in 1982, the Pride Run has stood as a landmark moment—launching a powerful, enduring partnership among Front Runners New York, New York Road Runners, and the City of New York. Today, the race continues to celebrate LGBTQ+ pride and the ongoing movement toward equality, diversity, and inclusion for all. In 2019, the event made history by breaking the Guinness World Record for the largest pride charity run, with more than 10,200 finishers.
