This August, the Stinson Lake 5K Run/Walk celebrates its 12th year as a fundraiser for the Stinson Lake Association’s Lake Host Program , which works to protect Stinson Lake from aquatic invasive species and preserve it for future generations. Note: The race is capped at 200 participants. Register in advance! This year’s race will be in person only. Due to rising shipping and administrative costs, we will not offer a virtual option, but supporters who can’t attend are still welcome to donate (online or by mail) or purchase a race shirt separately. Last year’s shirts are available for purchase at the Barn Door Hostel (30 Stone Hill Rd, Rumney). RACE DETAILS When: Saturday, Aug. 15, 9 a.m. start time Where: White Mountain Ranch beach (formerly Happy T Ranch; 75 Ranch Rd, Rumney, NH 03266). Race course is 3.1 miles, mostly paved, out-and-back on Stinson Lake Road, starting and finishing on dirt road (Ranch Rd) with turnaround at the Stinson Lake public boat ramp. Early bird registration:
