In honor of Anders Elmblad, we are proud to host the 2nd Annual Doggy Dash 5K. Anders passed away in 2024 at the age of 25 from glioblastoma. The therapy dogs brought him joy and comfort during his short stay at Michigan Medicine. To honor his life and continue his legacy, we are working to raise funds to sponsor a new therapy dog at Michigan Medicine through the Paws4Patients program. Proceeds from this event will directly support this cause. This year’s race features chipped timing, but all ages, paces, and abilities are welcome—whether you walk, run, or jog! Strollers, kids, and of course, furry friends are encouraged to join in on the fun. Ann Arbor T-Shirt Company has once again generously donated the first 100 event t-shirts. After that, half of all t-shirt proceeds will continue to benefit Paws4Patients, and the online store will remain open well beyond race day.
