Opelika Sportsplex Tri for Kids is held annually for kids ages 5-15. Age and Race Specifics: Ages 5-8: Swim 50 yardsBike 1.5 milesRun 500 yards Ages 9-11Swim 100 yardsBike 2.5 milesRun 1 mile Ages 12-15Swim 150 yardsBike 5 milesRun 2 miles NO ASSISTANCE WILL BE GIVEN WHILE SWIMMING. KIDS MAY HANG ON LANE DIVIDERS, BUT MUST ADVANCE UNASSISTED. There will be two water stations on the run course of the race. The post race festivities will be held by the finish line and amphitheater.
