Set on one of the longest days of the year, the early summer Alpine Solstice is a great way to start off mountain season. Classic Bend smooth single track awaits! Join for a fun day in the Cascades as we welcome in summer. The Alpine Solstice 55K features a beautiful course on single-track trail that has you running past the famous Tumalo Falls along with beautiful sights of the high Cascade peaks. The course has 4 fully stocked aid stations with 4000ft of elevation gain and 4000ft of elevation loss. The course consists of 90% single-track and 10% two-track trails. An instant classic in the making! The Alpine Solstice Half Marathon course winds through the Deschutes National Forest off of Cascade Lakes Hwy with flowing single track trails classic to Central Oregon. This route has just 1300ft in elevation gain making for a fast trail half! The course is mostly non-technical making it a good choice for a first trail half.
