Ellettsville 5K - 5K Walk

5K race for runners and walkers with a free kids' pre-race 1-mile fun run. Fun run starts at 8:00 AM and 5K at 8:30 AM. Flat, out and back course on Karst Park Greenway Trail. NEW THIS YEAR - we will have chip timing provided by AB Timing. Fourth annual race and part of the Mag 7 Series. This year designated as Mag 7 "Hidden Gem" (5 series bonus points for completing). T-shirts are available for entrants who register by no later than September 9. Overall and age group awards and random drawings for door prizes after the race for both 5K runners and walkers. "Ring that Bell" feature (including special prize) for anyone breaking the overall or any age group record (male and female). Names of those individuals holding current records and their times will be posted near start. Proceeds, after costs, will be used to sponsor future Ellettsville sporting or recreational events.
