You can still register for the event in person at the Gurnee Police Department during the following times: Friday, June 26th from 7 AM - 7 PM Saturday, June 28th from 7 AM - 8 AM ******************** Want to evade the cops without consequences? Now's your chance! Join us Saturday, June 27, 2026, for the 14th Annual Outrun the Cops 5k run/walk & 10K run for charity! Proceeds benefit the Lake County Children's Advocacy Center. This timed event begins and ends at the Gurnee Police Department with majority of the course on the Des Plaines River Trail. (The trail is crushed limestone; aid stations are positioned throughout the trail with water and sports drinks. Water, sports drinks, and snacks are also provided at the finish line.)
